DO I HAVE TO BE OF ASIAN HERITAGE TO JOIN?
No!
Oxford Asia Society prides itself on its inclusivity - we welcome anyone and everyone who is a student at the university and is interested in learning more about Asia, Asian culture and experiences.
We believe we cannot create an inclusive space by excluding members of the community.
Everyone is welcome here!
DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO JOIN?
For the purpose of being able to map our growth, we ask anyone interested in us to fill out a membership form. This does not come with a membership cost, but is only for our records.
We are a brand new society and are keen on growing, making it absolutely integral that we have a record of how many people we are representing.
CAN I WRITE FOR YOUR BLOG POSTS?
Yes!
We publish blog posts and photography on topics that affect Asian students or Asian countries every week on this website and our socials. This could range from cultural to political articles and we want you to write for us! Send in your pitch to ox_asiasoc@outlook.com, outlining your article idea with your name, college and pitch name in the email subject.
